This course provides an overview of the mechanical ventilation requirements found in the Florida Building Code, 5th Edition (2014) across Residential, Mechanical and Energy Volumes for residential construction. Mechanical and energy code requirements will result in increased mechanical ventilation applications.

Course Objectives:

The overall goal of this course is to ensure participants are familiar with ventilation provisions found in the Florida Building Code volumes as they apply to residential dwellings, to improve the likelihood that buildings are constructed in accordance with the building code.
