Course Description: 

This course is primarily designed for personnel without formal training on combustion or indoor air quality. It covers the fundamentals of energy use from gas fuels, exposure to gas, liquid fuels, and gaseous emissions, protective methods and devices, and safe practices in the construction industry. This course reviews the mechanism of death and harm and ties them to the FBC 5th Edition (2014) Energy Conservation. The participant will increase their understanding of the process of harm and how code compliance mitigates risk.
