This course provides an in-depth analysis of energy conservation terms according to the FBC 5th Edition (2014) Energy Conservation. The participant will increase their understanding of these terms with code compliance and policy discussions at the component, equipment, system and building level. Going beyond basics, it provides comparisons to the FBC 2010 Energy Conservation, as well as the counterpart terms used in common English.
